*Have a valid Tennessee driver's license F (endorsement)

*Undergo background checks and drug testing

*Complete additional training, such as CPR and First Aid certification

*Familiarize yourself with the requirements from TennCare and the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT)

*Understand the specific regulations governing NEMT providers, particularly for those serving Medicaid patients

*Ensure ADA compliance with vehicle safety standards

*Complete training approved by major NEMT brokers

All training, physicals, and required certifications must be completed within 7 days of the initial interview.

Failure to complete these requirements within the specified timeframe may result in disqualification from the hiring process.
